Indoor dining 6/4/2021. Loi's feels dingy and old. That didn't deter me from eating here because I've been coming for years. The waiter can be a sweetheart if you get to know him. He can get impatient because of old age. Tonight I had the pork & seafood over dry pho noodles. The soup is served on the side. Everything tasted fresh. The pho noodles were warm and blends well with the meats.

My favorite Viet spot in SF, a small mom a pop shop threatened by old age and rising costs in the city. They serve authentic dishes with broth boiled for hours and remain affordable.

Not good customer service. The menu was not updated to reflect the current price. After the order was placed in the table, I gave the old lady a $20.00 bill for &8.50 shrimp spring rolls and $10.50 for sautéed beef with vegetables noodle. She said more. I asked her how much. The old man started talking in a loud voice to me and said $24.00. I said you should update your menu to reflect the current prices. The old lady said too expensive. The old man said everything is going up. I said I know that but I didn't know the prices were different than the menu. The old man said I did tell you. I said yeah after I ordered and about to pay for it. Two people walked in and the old man said something to them in Chinese or Vietnamese. Anyway, I paid, shook my head, took my order and left. I have been a customer for a while. The menu should be updated. They don't even bother to tell what the current prices are when you're placing an order.
So that was bad customer service.

CASH only - Come here for the 🍜 not the service or ambience. Neighborhood go-to for Pho. Increase the prices with new menu (not ratty looking)reopened after medical emergency, place looks brighter and table scrubbed not sticky!

For the price good pho, lower than others in the vicinty. Hole in the wall, sticky table but good for warm pho during foggy cold day.

My Favorite is number 3, Beef stew soup noodles. If you are not ready to share a table do not come here.
